Kilkenny County Council Shortlisted for Six LAMA Awards

Kilkenny County Council is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted in six categories for the Local Authorities Members Association (LAMA) Awards 2026. In addition, we are honoured to be nominated for the prestigious Local Authority of the Year award.

The shortlisted categories and projects are:

The LAMA All-Ireland Community & Council Awards celebrate outstanding collaboration between councils and communities, showcasing local initiatives and unsung heroes who contribute to community development. This year’s ceremony will take place on 28 February 2026 at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, marking the 20th anniversary of the Awards, 40 years of the LAMA Executive, and 100 years of IPB Insurance, the event’s main sponsor.
