Kilkenny Western Environs Phase 1 Infrastructure

Construction of the scheme commenced on the 4th of March 2019. The main contractor appointed for the scheme is SIAC Construction Limited. The scheme completion date has been delayed due to the imposition of COVID-19 restrictions resulting in the closure of construction sites for specified periods. The Circular Road which had been closed to facilitate construction of a new bridge over the River Breagagh, re-opened to traffic in December 2020. The projected completion date of the full scheme is now June 2021.
